Recently crowned the Best Family Festival at the UK Festival Awards, Camp Bestival has proven itself to be one of the most magical and entertaining festivals for the entire family! From wellness programmes and makers markets, to kids raves and DJ led BBQ feasts there’s plenty to get stuck into over the course of the weekend but obviously, the thing that gets Smiffys most excited is the brilliant Desert Island Disco theme that will be taking over the Dorsetfestival. If you’re lucky enough to be heading to the festival at the end of July you can expect to see a brand new disco stage where you can get you’re groove on underneath the world’s biggest disco ball! The festival organisers have suggested all things tropics, glitz and glitterball for your fancy dress! Meaning we got straight to work to creating this collection that includes anything from palm trees and hula skirts to GoGo boots and tinsel jackets! If instead you’re heading to the Shropshire festival, don’t be disappointed as the Saturday will see their infamous fancy dress competition hosted by Sara Cox – the fancy dress theme has been left open so et your imagination run wild as you get involved with the family fun!
