Just when we thought we couldn’t get any more excited for festival season to begin… Isle Of Wight Festival announce their fancy dress theme and a costume competition! So get your sea shanties ready if you’re heading to the festival on Saturday 18th June, as you’ll be entering a marine paradise of Sirens & Sailors! Festival goers have been encouraged to have as much fun as they like with their costumes and the organisers have left ‘The Life Aquatic’ fancy dress theme open to interpretation! So let your imagination run wild as you decide whether you want to be a Swashbuckling Pirate, a High Seas Sailor or even a Mythical Mermaid partying at the main stage. If you are heading to Newport with a big group of friends, it’s the perfect opportunity to make a memorable entrance in a fantastic group costume. Why don’t you all dress up as a group of Deep Sea Creatures and head over to Strawberry Fields where the best dressed will be crowned and the winner will receive an exclusive backstage champagne picnic!
